According to FCC records, the following stations are currently off the air:
KALT 1610 ATLANTA 7/24/2003
KCTX 1150 CHILDRESS 12/31/2004
KPBL 1240 HEMPHILL 2/2/2005
KETX 1440 LIVINGSTON 1/1/2005
KJTV 950 LUBBOCK 4/23/2005
KUOL 1470 SAN MARCOS 3/23/2005
KPDB 98.3 BIG LAKE 4/5/2005
KAXH 91.5 BORGER 12/21/2004
KHPU 91.7 BROWNWOOD 8/1/2004
KNVR 94.3 CAMERON 10/24/2004
KGLF 88.1 DOSS 3/5/2005
KBRA 95.9 FREER 10/24/2004
KKXI 91.7 PITTSBURG 3/31/2005
KBMI 97.7 ROMA 8/1/2004
KIOL 103.7 WILLIS 4/1/2005
Obviously there are errors in the list, most notably with KJTV Lubbock, which is on the air, and KIOL, which changed their city of license to La Porte. Why they wound up on the "silent" list is anyone's guess. In the case of KNVR Cameron they have a CP to move to 105.1, but are they really off the air in the meantime?
