Silent Stations

Does the FCC still maintain a list of silent FM stations? If so, where is it?

So the answer provided by exdjted is 'no', in that the lists they provided are no longer updated.

I think you can search for "Suspension of Operation and Silent Authority Request" at the same time as "Silent STA Extension" and select "Active" and "Granted" at this link: Application Search « Licensing and Management System « FCC

However, that includes stations that have come back on air, so maybe someone can offer additional criteria to include in the search.

That is a tiny amount if you figure there are over 25,000 AM, FM, LPFM, translators, and TV stations of all types. Add in STLs, remote pickups, and support services, that is less than $2,500 per station for regulation of all those services.
