Sileo Racism?

It's not uncommon for Dan Sileo to cross the line (racism/sexism/homophobia), but this morning around 8:20 takes the cake. When he was talking about 3 black football players, he called them "3 monkeys." Isn't this just as bad as Cosell or Imus (who both lost their gigs)???
 
It's 3x as bad as Cosell. He only called 1 guy a monkey. Imus on the other hand had 5 nappy headed hoes. You make the call on that one. I cant understand why in an environment where pros get fired after doing their job well, idiots fortunate enough to still have a job do crazy stuff like this. Unbelievable.
 
It is amazing this guy has a job, he must work for free. His show is horrible, his opinions are less-than-interesting and he doesn't check his facts. I was hoping Bubba the LS would sue his butt over that crap he pulled a few weeks back.

i used to be a regular listener to the animal but have stopped recently. without tony bruno there is nothing on the station that interests me anymore.
 
What exactly did he do to Bubba? I heard Bubba's Sileo song parody today. Brutal.
Wonder if Sileo's advertisers are gonna' walk away a la Limbaugh's.
 
On Justin Pawlowski's show today I heard them return from a break with the song "hey hey we're the monkees". No mention of the story, just the song, and I "got" it.
 
I read the one article where there's comments from Gabe Hobbs. All I have to say is wow.... this guy is apparently STILL in Sileo's corner as he almost makes excuses for him. We've joked about it for years but really... that's ridiculous. WDAE will be better off without him. It was the right thing to do.

ah..ha, ha...the monkees....yeah...thats just...um...well, not really funny, but I'm sure the dozen or so listening might ...have...eh...who are we kidding..lame...
 
This guy used to be an idiot in San Francisco(KNBR), but he left before he could get in any racist trouble(otherwise, it might have been him instead of Larry Kreuger who made the 'brain-dead Caribbean hitters' comment about the SF Giants a few years back).
All 'attitude', no brain.

So his first tweet after his release prompted media to look at his bio for future opportunities. Give him credit for getting after it in no time!
 
I think this was just the straw that broke the camel's back. His show has just gotten bad with his tendency to make things up as he goes along, not to mention what seems to be a lack of mental stability and the strange noises he always makes. It was like the meds wore off as the show went on.

Had it been anyone else on this station, this would have been blown over, as 620 has consistently embraced this kind of attention. The station just needed cause to get rid of him.

Would like to see him replaced with someone who can hold a full show without having to lean on the producer (who has a grating voice for radio) for on-air contributions.
 
Dan! You can have your show on 2 Tampa Bay radio stations for the cost of 1 minute on many area stations! Call either Lola Jean The Broadcast Queen for details. ;D
 
Finally. I have been trying to get rid of this hack for years. Bring back Tony Bruno or even Sandy Penner...

They could have had even Justin Pawlouski or Todd Wright if Clear Channel/620 had not have pissed them off to the point of leaving.

Sileo's show has been absolutely BRUTAL since he first got on here.
