I think this was just the straw that broke the camel's back. His show has just gotten bad with his tendency to make things up as he goes along, not to mention what seems to be a lack of mental stability and the strange noises he always makes. It was like the meds wore off as the show went on.
Had it been anyone else on this station, this would have been blown over, as 620 has consistently embraced this kind of attention. The station just needed cause to get rid of him.
Would like to see him replaced with someone who can hold a full show without having to lean on the producer (who has a grating voice for radio) for on-air contributions.
