Silicon Valley B-2000 700W Power Amp Issues

We have a Silicon Valley B-2000 FM Broadcast amp that contains 4 700W power amps. 3 of these amps are only putting out between 125-200W. We've replaced the MRF151G MOSFETS, but that didn't correct the problem. These amps contain 2 MOSFETs operating in in quadrature in a single stage arrangement. Is anyone familier with these amps, and can suggest what might be the problem?

I think the amp has 2 push pull amps combined. have you checked the bias? the 151g needs about 3v bias on the gate to get the gain up.

How are the caps? see any hot spots on the board? is the drive the same to all amps?

I think it will be difficult to diagnose this problem here, there are just too many things it could be.

Glad to be of help
Pete
