Similar/alternative devices to a 360 systems instant replay?

We have a 360 Instant Replay in one of our studios, but I have a request for another.

I was wondering if in this fantastic age of computers of ours if anyone could suggest a good (and cheap) piece of PC software that performs the same basic functions as an Instant Replay..?

Thanks.

There was a Dutch program called Jingle Pallette that used to be available - if you can't find it, I think I have it in my archives. It featured presets so you could load up various pages for each show/daypart - it would also handle 2-plays and fadeout of the first item (ideal for bed+tags). I also think JazlerShow is still doing the rounds.

You may also be interested in my program, DAC Cartwall - it offers various pages of instant buttons (56 per page), 3 players that allow playback of longer items and also has a production recorder which is useful for off-air telephone production. http://www.charliedavy.co.uk/cartwall.php

There's a free PC program called Jazler Show which seems to work pretty well. I have it in a student radio studio and it works well. You can't beat the price.

Of course you can always keep an eye open on ebay if you are looking for a Instant Replay as every so often you may find a deal. I picked up one for my personal studio for under $400 and while it's not the most current model I don't have any problem with it.

Has that somewhere too. But everytime I installed it Symantec & AVG said one of the .dll's was a trojan. I could delete it and the program would still work.

Tried uploading it from several diff places with the same results.

BSI has a program. Cart deck or something like that... $99...

Are you talking about Wavecart? BSI's website says it is $350. I have a client using BSI's Stinger which is more like an Instant Replay. That is $299.

IMHO...Jazler is a good answer...Not a 360...but a reliable alternative...and...The Free price is right!
