A contestant on "Britain's Got Talent" has filed a lawsuit against the program for, among other things, "degradation" and "humiliation" after the judges had rejected her during her audition:

Simon Cowell is not only a judge on "Talent," but is a part-owner of the program. I don't recall an "American Idol" contestant ever suing the show or any of its judges for "degradation" - which has become somewhat of a Cowell trademark. At least give folks like William Hung credit for capitalizing on their talent (or in his case, lack thereof).
