Simple Poll on what eventually will happen at GST

With all the conjecture and the vapid comments and the shameless self-promotion done on this board( which I'm sure the suits at CC really like)here is a simple poll on what will eventually happen from 9am-12noon shift. This is totally unscientific and duplicate votes will be deleted.

1) Kevin Wall

2) Snake Davis and Wayne "No Offense"

3) Dino Costa

4) Mike Wolfe

5) Mark Williams

6) Denny Schaffer

7) Bring back Glenn Beck

8) none of the above

OK, have at it.<P ID="signature">______________

Jeff let me give you a little insider view on this thing.

If choice # 6 in your poll wants the position, it is his for the taking first and foremost.

Familiarity breeds security in many instances - and in this case it is absolutely true.

Schaeffer has an outstanding thing going for himself in Toledo right now - and if he can be convinced to come to Atlanta, then everything else you are seeing right now with polls and with auditons and the like is merely window dressing my friend.

Fishiest post yet. So tiring reading candidates pumping themselves and bashing others. Of course a guy in tiny Toledo would jump for a chance to get his 3 month stint in Atlanta before getting fired like the rest. And he's the Gabe Hobbs pick. My P.D. friends who heard him say he's terrible, small market wretched, should stay in Toledo.

All the other "candidates" are free labor while the real guy packs up his stuff for Atlanta. Always insist on being paid for "tryouts" , suckers. Whole pattern being repeated across the country.

Allow me to correct if I may

Speak for thyself MS...everyone who has auditoned to this point has indeed been paid with US dollars.

Suckers.

There should a choice for those that don't care who they hire and still won't listen to 'GST.

Re: True dead air story..

Funny you should mention this...it ACTUALLY happened in our market (not
in Georgia, though, I'm in North Florida.)

Several years ago a local talk station had bad management and didn't pay
their taxes. With severe financial constraints, the station had one unpaid employee, who, for WEEKS, went in at noon, signed on and aired Rush, then signed back off at 3 pm.

The station was sold about 3 months later for a mere $30,000, just over the amount of back taxes. But they lost Rush over it..he's now on the CC station
here.

Incidentally, this station is still on the air, but not as a talk station.
It's been sold 2 or 3 times since..It plays the Rejoice gospel network, brokered preacher shows, and Sean Hannity
(the only talk show survivor in all of that.)
