Simple question

With the amount of content that Netflix (and others) has released over the journey, will we ever see the day when some of it's back ctalogue gets released for terrestrial television syndication?

It depends on who owns the content. At some point, usually the rights return to the production company, who then offer the show for syndication. The broadcast syndication market is very lucrative, so even if Netflix owns the shows, they could make a ton in syndication.
