Simulcast or just a specific program? 560/790

I was flipping through the AM dial the other day and I caught the same program airing on 560 and 790, though both station had the show sounding "drastically different". 790 was super clear while 560 sounded monotone.

Was i just catching a show they are on both stations? Or are they simulcasting due to COVID 19 layoffs?

Hochman and Crowder air 3p-6p on both stations. I believe they've been doing that since the relaunch of 790 and 560. The difference in clarity you hear on the two stations could be attributed to anything from your distance from the station(s) to the type of processing used for each signal. I'd say it's processing because 790 definitely pops on my ancient Sony clock/radio here in West Broward while 560 seems flat.
