It MIGHT be possible for the streaming organization to grant you a waiver from the data display(song/artist/title) information because your programming is being produced by the terrestrial station. The legal department of
the streaming provider would be the ones to contact to request such a waiver.
I'm aware of a few terrestrial stations that have been able to do this.
My station is a PRO on Live365.com. It costs roughly $147 a month in streaming fees and music licensing.
The royalties amount is at least half of that amount, if not a little over half.
Internet radio certainly is an example of being penalized for being successful.
