since Miss Jones got yanked from 100.3 THE BEAT, does anyone know if they are gonna add another Morning SHow(prefereably a Nationally Syndicated Show... i.e. Russ Parr)?

Alternative ROCK, in other words... NO HIP HOP (readily available on other stations).

My hometown ( Boston ) Rock radio dial is TRASH ( To much Rock stations and none of them are any good ) . Thank God Providence R.I. has good rock stations that I can listen to ( WHJY and WBRU ).

Rumor has it Miss Jones is coming back to 100.3 THE BEAT! We are talking about Radio One here. Rickey Smiley would've been on the air already if Radio One Philly was done with Miss Jones. I don't know anything about this Y100 station, but Radio One doesn't associate themselves with non-urban formats. Did any other company pick up Y100's format and jocks since it was such a great station?

Yes! Philly Rock stations DO suck. THATS because Radio One took the highest rated rock station and flipped it to a copy of a repeat of a clone of a b*st*rdchild of a station across town. Everything on The Beat is already on 7 other stations in Philly,everyones ringtone,alarm clock,car alarm,keychain and doorbell. Hey my truck has a dead miss in the number 5 cylinder...its got a great beat,maybe I can make it the bed to Phillys next favorite hit. The only station that didn't crank out the same swill as the tie wearing 'tards gets axed and now it all sucks. Yeah real original thinking.
