Since there is no major news to report, do anyone have any minor news to report?.... From my end, 97.9 The Beat has a new voice guy. None other than Dr. Dave. Ok.....

One thing I've noticed is that with the advent of PPM and its continual measurements, the "thrill" of waiting for the quarterly book and then discussing it, has taken some of the vitality of these forums. The used to be anticipation and excitement when the Arbitron numbers came out. Now, with the new methodology, its become largely a routine matter with comparatively less interest for those of us observing D/FW radio.
 
Nobody mentioned Peter Arnel getting cut by KRLD, or Doug Helton and Dan Bell losing their jobs at TSN.
