Since when does Davis have 3 hrs?

http://abcradio.go.com/

Claiming Mark Davis' new syndie show is live 10am-1pm ET, which would mean his WBAP show is completely national. Since when did his original timeslot, 12-2pm against O'Reilly and Rush, change to this midday slot already overrun with endless rubbish? And when did ABC give him a third hour?

Yea, WBAP. He's not bad for local, but that station seems to have thrown local out the window the last 6 mos.

After hitting the syndication motherlode with WABC's Sean Hannity, ABC Radio doesn't seem to be able to strike even silver.

Remember Larry Elder? You know, the KABC/LA afternoon driver, who also (at last check) has a syndicated TV talk show? They syndicated his KABC show a couple of years ago. How many affiliates does he have outside of 790 in L.A.?

The only even remote success ABC has had in syndication, among its recent crop, is the weekend "Satellite Sisters", and even that's very, very modest by the standards of its weekend flagship show, Bob Brinker's "Moneytalk".

Basically none. And the TV show... toast.

Satellite Sisters 6 days a week.. ugh.

Satellite Sisters

Oh, I forgot about that.

I got the idea that the weekday expansion of that show was basically meant for satellite radio, with terrestrial stations going along for the ride. (Shades of Bill Press!)

The Sisters are on XM (I've listened... and regretted it) on the Take Five channel, along with a couple of TV shows like Tyra Banks'. The terrestrial syndication is slated to begin in January, and no doubt ABCRN's new Women Talk division will have more shows by then.
