Fist, rumor has it there's a new PD in town. anyone?

Second, classic rock. Why? Stick with the "Rock" and don't limit yourself. Keep refining the playlist and steal from everyone.

Third, O&A. Please, dear God, no. They have failed and failed again. Stick with Lario in the morning. That's Philly radio. That's local. It's such a relief to hear a regular Philly guy like Frank not babbling on and on like P&S or O&A about who-cares-what. You've got a new Ealges season and a chance to win points with the silent majority of Philly locals who don't want to be bashed over the head everyday with a circle-jerk morning show. Let Lario rock while P&S talk, and the ratings will follow.

For years, Howard Stern ruled Philadelphia morning radio without being local. It seems that WYSP is trying to go back to their heyday of "Stern, Eagles and classic rock". And it looks like they had planned to groom a suitable replacement for Stern.

Unfortunately, Kidd Chris went and did what he did.

And regardless, it was done. Now they're scrambling, and IMO, taking the smart route, giving up the war on MMR and taking on MGK.

and Jeff Sotts was upped to PD (TRI and front page news)
 
Let Lario rock while P&S talk, and the ratings will follow.........I agree 100% I am tuned in every morning.

The problem with CBS is they are to impatient...they give a format three months and then can it!

And the new PD to me sounds like they went on the cheap...You mean there was nobody else with more experience available? I highly doubt it....
