It appears that Sinclair and Mediacom have finally reached a deal:

It appears that Mediacom with some FCC input got Sinlcair to agree on the terms that Sinclair did with Time Warner's new deal a few weeks ago. Mediacom is happy and has restored their stations to their cable line-up, most notably KGAN in Iowa, just in time for the Super Bowl it appears, although Mediacom did pick up the CBS station from the Quad Cities while KGAN was off cable. Sinclair however, sound like they are not happy...
And it looks like Sinclair and Comcast may be in long haul for the next month for the same retransmission and money issues, although Comcast can't drop Sinclair stations until March due to the sweeps policy:
