This morning's Greensboro News & Record reports that
WXLV/45, the Sinclair-owned ABC affiliate in the Triad,
has finally been given the go-ahead to air in HD (by
Sinclair, not the FCC) on Time Warner Cable; a number
of people have complained about 45's inferior picture when
they can watch WFMY (CBS), WGHP (Fox), and WXII (NBC)
in HD (one woman said she saw "Boston Legal" in HD on 45;
I don't know since I don't have that cable system).
Now can Sinclair come to terms with Mediacom and get
WLOS/13 back on its systems in western North Carolina?
