In the Triad it would’ve caused a conflict with WGHP, WXLV and WMYV. Either WXLV or WMYV would’ve been divested. Probably WXLV, new owner could’ve started a news department since it is ABC.
 
Yes WXLV would’ve gone to Standard Media. I looked it up.
 
I used to watch the news on WXLV. They were the newcomers and had to make themselves stand out. They finally gave up and had no news.

Now they get their news from Spectrum.

Spectrum even discontinued that last year.
