Singer Eddie Money dies at age 70

Eddie Money, the singer/songwriter who had a number of hits in the 1980's, has passed away at age 70.

Money had recently announced that he was battling stage four esophageal cancer.

I got to see him at least three times. I now wish that I had gone to see him that fourth time, as well.

He was at Legends Casino in Toppenish several months back. But he was already looking frail from what I know. (I didn't go.) May he RIP!

Met him at a radio convention in Seattle circa 1991. He seemed a bit shy, but very friendly. RIP.

i wonder if his cancer played a huge part in the complications.

It could have. My dad was killed by a pulmonary embolism, which itself was caused by side effects
of a drug they were using to treat his prostate cancer.
