Singer JoJo interviewed on NECN

She's Ok...and cute! Too bad the reporter had to compare her to Britney amongst others. Can she reference someting from 2007 instead? Geez! Was she home for the Kiss 108 concert?
 
Guys, guys, this is not serious music here! It's meant for pre-teens. JoJo is played a lot on Radio Disney. I wouldn't expect anyone over 16 to take this stuff seriously, although as a dad with two young girls, I get used to and actually like JoJo. But it's just commercial corporate pop, however pleasant.

I'm a really big fan of her too. I would like to meet her sometime, she seems really nice.

And even when she talks, she is VERY mature for someone who is only 16 years old. I think she would make a great hostess of Lottery Live, and she could take Dawn Hayes' old job. What do you think?

Well, then again, I don't know if I'd like it. I'd rather have good old Dawn Hayes back. What they're doing now really isn't the same. I'd like to see some old clips of Lottery Live from the late 80s/early 90s.

Okay now, correct me if I'm wrong. But I think that for a period of time in the late 80s/early 90s, there was actually an outro, which was basically the intro in reverse. Meaning, it would show the balls flying around the screen again, and they would form back into a 7. And also, I think there used to be a voiceover announcement during the intro in the early days of Lottery Live on 7. Someone uploaded to YouTube a demo of a Lottery Live drawing from the early 90s, and it has that on it. Am I right about this?
 
Getting back to JoJo, do you ever see her hosting her own show? Somehow, I do.
 
She actually has before. I remember one time the normal host for AOL's Top 11 Countdown was out, and she was the sub. And I heard she's hosting some show in England. But I really like her a lot, and I wish I could meet her. Do you know if I'll ever be able to?
 
You won't believe this. I actually did a search for this, and it turns out that on her page on NECN, Ally Donnelly's e-mail address is listed! Do you think it would be a good idea if I e-mailed her and asked about it?

No offense to JoJo or anybody, but I'm a bit surprised that a big star like JoJo would be interviewed on a local news station like NECN. I don't think NECN usually interviews celebrities. I wonder what made them decide to interview her.
 
Maybe because she's from Foxboro?
I heard that on Open House Party a while back...
 
Well, I actually did e-mail Ally, and she replied! She said that JoJo seemed like a very nice person, and sounds very mature for the age of 17, and is very well grounded, and her mother essentially raised her on her own. She basically talked about how interesting it is to interview celebrities, and she told me some of the other ones she's interviewed in the past. And she said that NECN basically picks celebrities to interview in relation to what they have with New England, and JoJo is FROM this area, and she was in the area at the time, and so that's why they picked her. :)
