Sirius adds 600K net subs in Q2, easily beating XM

SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO added 600,460 net subscribers for second quarter, a 64% jump from last year's figure, giving the company 4,678,207 subscribers at the end of the quarter.

The quarter's net adds beat both XM's numbers for the quarter and analysts' projections.
