Sirius and Air America

> Is Sirius dropping Air America? If so, when?

On or before July 11. It's one of the things that's made me consider dropping Sirius despite my lifetime subscription.

> Sirius isnt dropping Air America, Air America signed and exclusive contract with XM which will not allow it to broadcast on Sirius. There is a difference. Look for Sirius to add another left/liberal talk channel soon.

Air America signed the deal with XM after Sirius refused to renew their deal with AA. That's why large chunks of the AA lineup are missing from the XM feed, even though they're "going exclusive."

According to some posts elsewhere, the Shultz & Colmes shows will go away on July 11 and XM will carry the entire schedule. Whether that means they're going to move those shows to another channel or not noone really knows.

Of course, the usual XM cone of silence means that noone will confirm or deny anything until after it happens. <P ID="signature">______________

If AAR was smart a huge go XM deal or promo would go up in place for those who feel totally screwed by the AAR abandonment of Sirius users.....

In this case, I blame AAR. They have been mismanaged, misran and frankly, stink. I like Franken, Garafalo and Chuck D's Show, but the rest of the air staff just suck up bandwith.
