Sirius Price Raise..

Apparently it's now going to cost around $17's for all premium content.

Has anyone else not listened to Sirius XM as much in the last 6 months, let alone as much since the Merger?

I used to love XM. Great sound quality. Quirky Channels...On the Rocks, anyone? You could listen for five hours in a stretch and not hear a single song repeated. Plus hear 'new' songs that you never heard of before that became instant favorites ('Bertha But Boogie!).

I don't really see that with Sirius...And the Addition of DJ's sort of ruins takes away from the music only experience. If folks want DJ's, they can go to regular radio :). Although, that being said, I'm really glad to hear Cousin Brucie back on the air, and Motormouth (if he's still on) was a fun new addition...

Just curious if anyone else has been going to ipods and rip cd's far more than sirius lately? :)

My account was cancelled by Sirius automatically this week. When I called they apologized and even said they were reimbursing me $300+ and lowering my monthly payments to $14 for each month. It's crazy what's going on, but there is so many channels it's well worth it.

doesn't matter how many channels; there is no 'movin easy' anymore. I would like a MOR easy-listening vocal channel from 1959-1974 on Sirius/XM, but they add 30 channels and no such channel anymore, nor a 'deep' pop top40 channel to make up for the repetitious crappy decades channels they have gone down hill the last 3 years. Not worth the price increase for sure.
