Sirius Shuffle 0r JACK FM Clone

I've been listening to Sirius Shuffle Channel 12.

I've just got it recently and listened to that channel.

I don't know if it's new or not, but cleary they're taking

the JACK FM apporach to their songs. I'm already convinced

that Sirius is better music wise than XM, but I was shock

when on the channel so far I've heard Tony Bennett mixing in

with GUNS & ROSES and Snoop Dogg.

That's unbelivable

I'm still waiting for the Amy Grant to Metallica to Frank Sinatra to Garth Brooks to Backstreet Boys set.

I love this channel. "Super Shuffle" is definately my favorite of the 4 new music channels they added. ("Spa 73" is my other new favorite). Anyway, "Super Shuffle" has an incredible variety of hits across all genres and is great for long listening periods. It's similar to "Jack FM" stations, but it goes even deeper by including more formats and types of music that it draws from. It features the typical classic rock, Hot AC, type stuff, but it also includes country, hip hop, standards, reggae, dance, etc. that most typical over the air "Jack FM" stations would not. Anyway, I'm loving this channel so far. Great job as always Sirius!

I agree-the Shuffle is 1000 times better than any JACK station on the FM radio dial... This is exactly how Jack should ahve been programmed-to go from country to hip hop to standards to top 40 to classic rock and so on and so on...

Everyone should keep in mind the difference.
These jack stations have songs that are still picked by a station that is going after a key demo.
sirius shuffle is going after no demo. it is a true random shuffle.

Close: here's what I got so far...

Now, note that I am not a Sirius subscriber, but I do get the music channels on Dish Net and run it through my Part 15er...

Maria Muldaur “Fly Me to the Moon”
Stevie Wonder “You Are the Sunshine of My Life”
Billy Idol “Flesh For Fantasy”
ELO “Evil Woman”
Stardust “Music Sounds Better With You”
Van Halen "Hot For Teacher"
Grover Washington Jr "Mister Magic"
Doobie Brothers "What a Fool Belives"

A larger variety than ANY Jack-FM I've ever heard. More daring...oh, and no commercials!!!
______________
I've done it all...HOO HOO...tell 'em, Fred!
FOX News Alert: YOU SUCK!!! Ya like apples?

Anything you can do, I can do better (LOL) - Re: Sirius Shuffle 0r JACK FM Clone

At first, before I heard it, I thought Super Shuffle was possibly just a "me-too" reaction to this year's "flavor of the month" in terrestrial radio.

But now that I've actually heard it, I think that (while there's still an element of reaction here) Sirius could say about this, "Anything you can do, I can do better!" (LOL.)

Take that, FM! ;-)
