sirius to add a christian rock channel

coming september 29 sirius will be adding a christian rock channel. looks to me it will be like xm 31 the torch. comments?<P ID="signature">______________

Darn! After I heard Sirius was going to pick up the vulgar Howard Stern, I was more determined than ever to get XM. But Sirius seems to be trying hard to reach out to various niches - now this.

It would be nice if either of the Sat services offered a real Christian CHR outlet. Everything is either waaaaayyyy to a/c or way to scary (like the torch sometimes)

"Sirius Wants To Be 'Leader In Christian Music Programming'
As reported in the Billboard Radio Monitor Christian Music Newsletter last week, Sirius Satellite Radio is introducing a new music channel called Revolution that will be devoted to Christian rock music."

I would feel kind of funny doing Christian Rock or Christian AC for the company that has all of its hopes and dreams riding on the new, UNCENSORED Howard Stern Show. I guess you go where you can reach the most people and do the most good, but it would seem strange.
