Sirius-XM Merger

I've heard a few different things on this:

If (when, really) the Sirius-XM merger is finally all approved and complete, will the headquarters stay in New York?

I've been under impression that they will (Mel Karmazin is a proud New Yorker; and Sirius gets the upper-hand, decision-wise in the merger) but I've heard some whispers that this is not yet in stone.

Any information?

who cares IMHO until they actually have merged
15$ for audio that sounds like an internet stream and an audio signal that likes to skip a lot in greenwich. Lets not forget their repetitive tight playlists without letting the Jocks have a little freedom. Since k-rock came back, I chucked my Sirius receiver out my window. now I have WRXP and q-104.3 as well. Lets not forget my Ipod and Eddie Trunk. If I had the option of XM and Sirius in one and the lifetime option, sure why the hell not!

$15 in VT worth it in many areas but I don't stay up here...

I will stick with the $3.00 XM internet stream. It's not worth $15.00 dollars here too.dump the over chatting jocks and the little sound bytes, jingles and the old tv show sound clips. as I said that on a other thread. Maybe they will save some money in the production side, they can take the extra money to upgrade the equipment to boost up the bitrate. yes it does sound like a internet stream to me too.anyway I do have to give credit to XM for cleaning up and running reruns of Casey Kasem's AT40 countdown shows.Hum will this merger stop Casey Kasem's AT40 countdown reruns on XM.
