Sirius XM sets a new high of 21 million subscribers

Having bought a new car with Sirius/XM installed a few months ago and having been very disappointed in the content (and not intending to renew the 3-month free trial) I wonder how many others like me Mel is counting in his "new subscriber" numbers.

If I were someone who spent days on end driving across the western part of the USA, where radio has big gaps in coverage, I can see where Sirius/XM would be an alternative. Otherwise, no.

My new car came with aux input and USB allowing me to hook up an mp3 player and/or flash drive containing virtually all my listening content. Sirius/XM will expire and AM/FM will go virtually unused in this car.

Sorry Mel.

Any activated radio counts as a "subscriber," even if nobody ever listens to it. Mel has been lying through his teeth about this for years and the paid-for regulators and Wall Street scum touts just nod their heads. Unsold cars sitting on dealer lots with Sirius radios in them? Yup, they're subscribers.
