SiriusXM packages

Does anyone have the SiriusXM Music & Entertainment package? I was wondering if 40s Junction is included in that package. I tried looking on the website and even though it says it is not, I'm just wondering if it says that because it's temporarily a streaming only channel and when it's back on Ch. 71 it will be included in both packages.

Otherwise I will have to go for the Platinum package. If true, too bad, that's the only channel I want that's not in Music and Entertainment. Everything else I can get in the cheaper one.

40s is currently running Christmas music that what I heard could be wrong

40s 50s 60s are the worst quality music channels they sound like 64kbps or 80kbps mp3. The worst sounding channels are the comedy channels a lot of the shows sound like they were recorded from 30 to 40 ft away.

Correct, the 40’s has temporarily been replaced by Christmas music. SXM tends to preempt some channels for special programming.

SXM subscribers can always stream the service, which provides much better audio quality, as well as many additional channels not available on the satellite delivered version.

I guess what I was wondering is, once the Christmas music is over, is the 40s Junction channel on Ch 71 included with the "Music and Entertainment package" or do you have to subscribe to "Platinum." It's kind of conflicting on the website and no one at XM gives me a straight answer lol. The "Music and Entertainment" package is cheaper so if someone has the package and got that channel before the pre-emption might know

It was on Music and Entertainment before so it should be after Christmas.
It has been stated that 40s Junction would resume back on its normal channel after the holidays. I think the OP (Neel) was inquiring if the Music & Entertainment package includes the channel in its in-car offerings, as well as if Music & Entertainment package subscribers have the channel available to them via the SXM app.
