SiriusXM renewal deals?

My wife's and my year is coming up and we're set to have to start paying $21 a month for our services (not All-Access, but the one that gives us everything but the NFL and the new Pandora channels. Yes, we want to keep the service in my wife's car and online. We paid $69 after our initial 3 month free trial for the entire year. Anybody heard of or get a good deal?
 
Two and three year prepayments are always discounted.
 
Phone Customer Service and tell them you want to cancel your service. Tell them that in this money-is-tight times, you can't afford to pay their full rate. Expect them to offer you all sorts of discounts to keep you.

Thats not a guarantee by any means. Sirius xm is probably trying to make back their money they wasted on that podcast app.

If you can find a way to only pay $69 one time for a year, that will be such a huge saving because you'll already get close to that mark in 3 months if you get the $21/month payment.

Trust me, you won't get the best deal unless you threaten to cancel your service. Yes, Syfy, that includes Vivid..

The contract phone bank operators SXM uses has a list of offers available in case someone is calling to cancel. If you're willing to spend a couple minutes on the phone with someone (from Indonesia or India), they will make you a much better offer vs. losing you permanently.

I called SXM to cancel the subscription for that totaled car, and the operator was pulling out all the stops with offers to keep that account. Finally I said; 'look, the car with that radio was destroyed, so I don't want to pay for a subscription on a car that I don't own anymore.' Eventually the operator got it, but prior to, must have read-off five different lower-priced options.

Yeah Kelly they are just doing their job by reading the offers sorry to learn that happened to you.

Thanks. I was physically fine, other than being sprayed with glass. Literally ripped the entire passenger side off the car. Really liked that car too. Was sad to see it meet it's end that way.

What kind of car was it? Sounds like it was totalled.

It was a pretty rare 2000 Saab Viggen. The semi trailer whipped over into my lane and hit me just in front of the passenger side A-pillar (windshield), hooked the door and peeled the entire side of the car open. After the State Patrol took the accident report, I was still able to drive the car home via side streets. While driving home, people were pulling up along side and taking photos of what was left of my car. It was pretty dramatic looking.

I knew Saab's were safe cars, but never had the chance to test how safe, until this. The car was indeed totaled because of it's age and the degree of damage.
 
That was easier than I thought. I had my sob story ready to go, my wife out of work (which was true since she didn't have her normal summer school bus work and won't start her regular route until the end of the month.). It was after the call center was closed, but I told the automated system I wanted to cancel, and the automated system renewed me for what I paid last year. So there we go. Thanks all.
