Sisanie Voicetracking

Whichever CC Top 40 stations run Premium Choice programming in overnights. I think she's still on Channel 93-3 San Diego middays as well.

?? hmmm.... I just heard her around 4 this morning on KZZP. I was wondering "who is this girl?" I heard the name, which is unforgettable, then she spelled it on air, and that's the only reason this post caught my attention.

The name may be unforgettable but the jock is. Real premium choice.

This young lady is becoming more & more popular each day! She even has her own personal thread on this forum!

Anyway, seriously speaking though, she does a midday show Mon - Sat on a few radio stations, and is nationally syndicated on over 50 radio stations nationwide. She seems to have a pretty decent radio personality and will be successful with radio.

A little more I can tell about Sisanie... Very talented, fun person / personality, and in somewhat of an unrelated note, she is also very beautiful, just in case anyone was wondering. In most cases, a name says a lot about a person, and I think that is why the name caught my attention and stood out to me to begin with. If it were something like "Kim", or "Debra", ..."Julia", or "Demetrius", I probably would have never remembered the name. She seems like everything a Sisanie would be... if that makes any sense.

Frankie V is another great on-air personality, and is definitely worth a listen, along with Sugarbear from KZON, who seriously deserves much more attention than he currently receives on radio at the moment.

Sisanie sounds pretty good on 102.7 KIIS FM, but just okay on stations she tracks.
Boy Toy Jessie, on the other hand, sounds really good both on KIIS-FM as well as one some of the stations I've heard him voicetrack (Kiss FM Phoenix and Channel 93-3 San Diego, if I'm not mistaken). He's definitely one of the best sounding talents in the country right now, imo.

I think it's pretty sad that we're now judging people on their ability to fool listeners into believing they are hearing live and local radio. :'(

K~

The thing is, other than displaced radio people, listeners aren't even think "I know that DJ is sittin' in a chair in downtown Cleveland talking to me". Even when they know it's a syndicated personality, either they like them or they don't.

I strongly disagree on "BoyToy"'s premium choice tracks. I once heard "BoyToy Jesse, just after 6, rollin' Lady Gaga"
That is ALL he said about one of the biggest artists in the country at the moment! Not a fan at all, you should be able to do better than that if you're "premium choice"

Rubberchicken, listen to an entire hour or two. Then compare it with local-based jocks. It's NOT uncommon for the local jocks to sometimes mention something real quick and just crack the mic for 2 seconds either.

Considering that Sisanie's been on the air in major markets only since the ripe old age of 19, with a resume which includes stops at KBKS/Seattle, KHTS & KUSS/San Diego, & now KIIS, and is only 24 years old, that's pretty exceptional.

I'm in L.A. now. I'm going to get off of Amp and listen to KIIS F.M. to see everything that Sisanie is... I'm sure it will be pretty good. Then when power 106 does their electro party mix at noon, I'll listen to that, and again when they mix from 3-7pm. Not sure if they'll allow listening to radio stations at the viewing, but I know I may definitely miss it tomorrow at the funeral.

I started a similar thread on the Cleveland board- Having tech probs w/ my p.c right now not allowing me to paste the link, but I think the "Sisanie" overnight tracking is horrid IMHO. She never ONCE says a generic "Kiss FM" going into OR coming out of breaks & I caught her re-using the same phone bit voice track 2 nights in a row. Who cares what she LOOKS like? Her voice & delivery are average...but then again so is my wife's, who if I supplied her with a National Enquirer Magazine & 1/2 hour on the Perez Hilton website I could show prep her voice trackings & have it sound about the exact same as Sisanie's, ahem, "show".
And the 2 second breaks are the worst...never "Sean Paul heatin' it up on the charts and on your radio, here comes Fire Burnin on Kiss Fm' " ...it's always just effortless words like..."Sean Paul is on now".
The worst part is if you live between 2 of the same markets she's there to haunt you on both with the same "blah" every night, that only the mentality of a "Last Call With Carson Daly" audience member would appreciate.

Well I had the chance to listen live in L.A. and I admit - she's alright. She sounds pretty average on air. Not bad, but at the same time, nothing outrageously exciting either. She just does her job basically, but still, congrats to her for all her success.

She's also on overnights on WAKS/96.5 in Cleveland.

Midnight-6 AM early Monday morning, and 2-6 AM the rest of the week...before her, midnight-2 AM Monday-Friday late nights, it's another KIIS'er, "JoJo on the Radio"...presumably also a Premium Choice offering.

I'm wondering if anyone's managed to track the PC jocks as a whole. I haven't confirmed it, but I believe Cleveland's own Don "Action" Jackson (WMJI) does the PC overnight VT shift for the company's classic hits stations.. He's been spotted on Pittsburgh's "3WS" in that time slot, by one of our readers, and I'm pretty sure he's also on KLOU/St. Louis via the same route.

This is in addition to his existing VT work for sister station WBBG/106.1 "Big 106.1" in the Youngstown market.

But since we're on the CHR board, a question: Are Kiss/Cleveland jocks showing up in the PC rotation anywhere? I know Kasper and Joel are on XM 21...

Oh, and why would Sisanie not say "Kiss FM", someone asked... doesn't CC have at least one or two CHRs that don't take the "Kiss FM" branding?

I can think of one easily off the top of my head - the mighty Z100 in NYC. *Kiss" there is taken by Emmis' long-standing urban AC station WRKS, I'm sure Sisanie doesn't air on Z - as far as I know, they only take one out-of-market weekday show, Ryan Seacrest.

But other non-Kiss CHRs may be why she doesn't use the branding, as the PC shifts are generic. Any call letter/name drops would have to be pre-recorded outside the VTing.

True. Dayton's Premium Choice CHR is Channel 94-5. CC has a Country station using all Premium Choice content and it's the same thing, quick drops and no mention of the station by the jock. One of WTUE's jocks, "B man" is one of the Premium Choice classic rock jocks, couldn't tell you what stations he's on.

Wow. Somebody's in love with her.

She's very talented but started out in a top 10 market. Not exactly respectable in the "paying your dues" sense.

She is also extremely cocky.
