Sister Stations in the same market playing different versions of songs

How often do sister stations in the same market play different versions of songs?

In Hartford - The Talk of Connecticut - WDRC 103.3/1360, WSNG 610, and WBOM 1470 has an Oldies show on Saturday/Sunday Morning and they played Knockin' on Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan. Their FM sister station WDRC-FM is a Classic Rock Station -102.9 The Whale and they have Knockin' on Heaven's Door by Guns N' Roses in regular rotation.

Also with the same 2 stations they play Mony Mony by Tommy James and the Shondells on The Oldies Show on the AM station, while The FM station has the Billy Idol version in regular rotation.
