when "Escape (TPCS)" comes on. I'm thinking, "The RI Nashville board is spinning in their graves." When the table across from me asks the server what the song is. He doesn't know, so he asks a manager. It's also one of the bumper songs on the late show on 104.5 Probably the definitive song of the last half of the 20th century, and will be the first half of the 21st! Much like "Walking on Sunshine" for the 80s.

you gotta feel sorry for some people. which country was the server from? how did he get in the country without knowing ESCAPE, I thought it was on the citizenship test?
 
...For the dollar... Best restaurant to eat and enjoy in downtown Nash-Vegas....I miss my Demo's.......Chicken and Rice soup, anyone?????
 
None of those Demos folks have a clue about anything important going on culturally in America of than MJ passing, do they???>>> How sad!

I say the real king of pop has been crowned when Taco Hell creates a festive drink after your song and a bunch of GUYS sing the Pina Cola song outloud...thats success.

What does this generation of non-drive-thru waiters know anyway??? They never worked in radio or even heard of one.
 
D Dean, be thankful the tune played was not "Timothy" by The Buoys, written by Rupert. There is nothing quite like a cannibalism song to turn stomachs.
 
Timothy" by The Buoys ahhh..great song..put it on a cd last night for buntin..part of the coal miners trilogy.."big bad john, workin' in a coal mine, timothy"...i understand that rupert is somewhat embarrassed of having penned that nowadays..
