Seriously Beachbumstar? These guys are doing something that most of us radio geeks only dreamed of at that age. Why would you want to crap on that?

Beachbumstar, you ought of be ashamed of yourself!!!! Such a role model you are!

It's awesome that the teens at WKID are pursuing their dreams and getting a start in radio at an early age. More power to them!

To you guys at WKID, ignore Beachbumstar's sarcastic (hateful) comments. You guys keep on doing what you enjoy and hopefully you'll make it onto a major station (if that's what you want to do) in a few years!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. They really mean a lot to not only me but the entire crew. I am hoping to land a volunteer part time job with a AM sports station sometime soon. Anyone interested in some free help? Thanks again, Adam Baker

Whether the sports station has three digits (620) or four (1010) I wish you all the best in getting your foot in the pro radio door! I have not seen someone in pre-college age be so passionate about entering the business in these days as yourself. Good luck!

Beachbumstar - was Kanye West your mentor? Talk about kickin' a puppy. Do you delight in being a bully?

Ignore Beachbumstar, kids ... he/she is probably a has-been any way. Keep up the great work!

Keep up the good work with WKID.
When I was MUCH younger, I built a little AM transmitter which got out about half a mile.
After I built the transmitter, I built a mixing console and put the thing on the air.
I had lots of fun running my own radio station and it was a great learning experience for a blossoming Engineer.
A little more than a decade later, I was Chief Engineer for WQYK-FM.
Of course, along the way, I had to work for some pretty crappy little stations.

Set your sites high and be prepared to work your way to the top.
