Anybody think Q105 is playing a lot more Sixties and early Seventies like they were when they brought Scott Walker over ?
 
Yes... I was thinking the same thing. Not hearing as many 80's... and when you do, I've heard a couple odd segues. ...Like Human League's "Don't You Want Me?" into Beach Boys "Good Vibrations".
 
More shuffling of the deck chairs. And a tighter playlist. The Cheese factor is off the charts with the corny drop ins as well....
 
They were getting to sound a lot like the Eagle and the Eagle started beating them. I like it better this way and rather hear more Motown, disco, and less classic rock or hits. Of course I grew up with AM top 40 so nothing is to cheesy. I wish they would at least VT overnights to really sound like 60's Top 40
 
Personally, I'd like to know how much sustainablility Parliament's Flashlight has had after all these years that I should be hearing it on Q105, even on a Saturday night?

There are some songs from that 70's era that should have been melted down with the recycling laws put in force since.
