Sorry Radioaircheck, I don't pray at the alter of Ken Dowe. He turned K104 over to the kids to bring along his baby KRNB and they both have suffered. K104 was a polished adult sounding station (5am to 6pm) that was in the community and had focus. Michael Spears and Terri Avery were a GREAT MANAGEMENT team.

KRNB changes directions as often as I change my draws. If Ken Dowe was so great, why he couldn't work his magic on KRNB or on KKDA.

Exactly! That's why V-103 in Atlanta is beating it competition because an Adult sounding urban from during the day (6am to 6pm) will win overall demos over a station that chases after 18-34. I wish somebody will tell them in DC @ WPGC the same thing because that is their problem these days. Nobody wants to listen to same power songs that can be heard from 6-10pm during the day.
