Skip Murphy and Company returning on 04.25......

Just heard that Skip Murphy and Company will be returning on 04.25. What station you ask? Um, DFWiRadio.com....yep internet radio :-\

Wouldn't they do better if they just bought time on an AM station?....I'll will listen though.

Well its "local". I still say it would be better for them to be on KRNB than any other station. That morning crew has Urban AC all over it.

I disagree. The same could be said about "Frank & Wanda" on V-103 in Atlanta, but they kill key demos, #1 in both 18-34 & 25-34. In other words, they would fit any urban formatted station.

That's Atlanta....Not D/FW.

You can advocate for Skip Murphy on UAC all you want but the facts says otherwise.

So why did K104 get rid of them. They don't fit the format any more. They did the same to Scott West, Tom Joyner, and others. I'm saying that they would help KRNB more than Steve Harvey. If Service does not want KRNB to be successful then sell it to someone who would or make it a 24 hr gospel station.

I argee with you Salem, but one would think there may be bad blood between SMAC and Service. And with Radio One being in bed with Tom Joyner that is not an option either. No other cluster will frip to R&B so SMAC is stuck due to them only fitting in this market. If another group ever smarts up and attempts R&B on a descent signal, SMAC will be the first called and It would be a top 5 station.

That must be true. Why would you want to get rid of your top morning show. Too me it does not make sense.

The answer to your question is easy: Money. That's ALWAYS the answer and as always, you get what you pay for..

Yeah I know. They did better than what management thought they would, and Service did not want to pay them.
