Likely this is a good Tropospheric path (as opposed to E skip). Down in South FL I am getting a Savannah area FM + ch 8 DT Waycross GA.

I'm curious which Savannah FM are you receiving South Florida?

^ WUBD 106.9 Bob FM (Bluffton SC). 89.5 & 102.1 have appeared this year, but not of late.

Sure helps that 106.7 here is not HD.

Yes, the Tropospheric conditions have been very favorable for FM DX'ers the past couple of evenings here in North Florida as well. As noted by cd637299 in South Florida, 106.9 Bob FM, from S.C., has been one of the signals coming in very strongly. Actually the entire FM band has been very active, for example, while it's not unusual to receive Country WPCV 97.5 from Winter Haven-Lakeland, here in Jacksonville, and in many parts of Florida. For a short time last night, I was getting 97.5 WCOS-FM from Columbia, S.C., with a strong enough signal to light up my RDS display! That's pretty good, considering the antenna was only an FM dipole on the floor! lol

WUBD Blufton could be heard in Central Florida years ago [late 80s] when it was 50kw WLOW. For some reason that particluar frequency at its present tower location has a unique signal that at times extends well past its service contour.

I miss WLOW, 106.9 or 107.9 :(

Another station that I've been getting quite regularly here in southern Duval county is Oldies 98.3 WGCO-FM Midway, Georgia, which seems to have a big signal just north of Jacksonville, serving Savannah and Brunswick. The programming seems solid enough for an Oldies station, but the audio seems really FLAT. I'm wondering if that's by design, or they're experiencing some sort of technical problem. One would think you would want some fullness and compression, so the Oldies can jump out of your speakers, and right into your brain! The old "BIG 100" in Orlando is an example of a station that "got it", in that regard. 105.9 Sunny FM also seems to have a very solid audio chain.

Now, 107.9 is playing "i love this bar" I believe this is mississippi coming in.
