Skip wipes out HD

My Ford Crown Vic' Police Interceptor (circa 2007) has a volume related feature upon which I have become quite dependent.
Speed Volume: the faster the car moves, the louder the radio gets.
I don't know if there is a speedometer connection involved, or anything about how this works, but I love it.
An aftermarket radio could only offer this if it included a GPS receiver.

I have that on my 09 G8 also, I tried it for a little while and shut it off. Nice car by the way, I've always wanted one of those.
