I can't believe her attorney would let her make a statement like that. An OWI is nothing to joke about especially for someone in the public eye. Strange time of the day, though.....

Who? What News Center? Where? News Pyramid

I believe one of the stations in Fort Wayne brands as Indiana's News Center. Looks like its a partnership of WPTA and WISE.

Indiana's News Center is the disaster merger of WPTA and WISE (for money reasons of course.)

After Marti Wright (who also got a DWI/OWI/something like that) I wouldn't be surprised if Mary won't be out the door. (My speculation.)
If my memory is right she's worked at all 4 stations with news departments...I was at WANE-TV when she and hubby Tad (who may also still be working at INS; promotion is his thing I think) came back from Illinois. And as small as she is, one sniff of rum cake could set her over the limit.

Wright was arrested on March 30, 2000 for DWI. I believe Wright's departure from WPTA might be different than (if) Mary Collins departs Indiana's NewsCenter. But I can't say why on here.

I believe Tad is the Director of Marketing and Promotions at Indiana's NewsCenter.

OK so once again I went with "public speculation" ...AKA GOSSIP... about Marti Wright. Bad Juan Bodley.
