Slam Duncan

Slam Duncan who was on 94.9 the Bull was voice tracking nights at WSIX in Nashville has left according to country air check, maybe the bull will have good sense and hire him back, yeah right.

I also enjoyed Slam when he was on the Bull, thought he did a terrific job in the morning, but also a better job the short time they had him on PM drive. I'd love to here him on the Bull again, but I don't think there is a place to put him at this point.

I'm kinda surprised that Slam has not re-surfaced at Kicks ... yet.

Provided Slam worked for Kicks during the Moby era, perhaps he could resurface on Moby's show as an intern or a whipping boy, perhaps...

I wanted to use my first ever post here on Radio Info to say THANKS to everyone (OK, all 8 of you!) for all the kind words, especially whoever is behind the handle "jimbo722" who has been saying nice things about my air work since I arrived in the ATL ... a city, by the way, that I desperately would love to stay and work in ;)

GO BRAVES!

Thanks Slam. Just a listener who enjoyed your work at the Bull, and also on the Plaza at Turner Field b4 the Braves games.
It was kind of odd to me that not long after they put you on the PM drive, you were gone. I thought that was working quite well, with lots of audience participation, along with you banter with the "Mad Man".
Sorry to hear about WSIX, I guess radio is a cruel biz. Weren't you voice tracking for another CC station in Virginia or something too?
I'm curious to know what you think of the Bull's recent ratings moving upward a bit? Have you had a chance to listen? I think Scott Lindy is doing a great job, better if they'd hire you back, even if it was just part time initially to host "Backyard Country", which seems rights up your alley.

Well, I hope you land on your feet soon.

I, too, thought afternoons was rolling along nicely, Hunnicutt was giving me two thumbs up (but he did think I was spending too much time getting into traffic) ... next thing ya know, I'm outta there!

Concerning Lindy, I haven't listened much but Scott has a track record of getting the job done everywhere that he's been and it seems that all in falling into place nicely at The Bull...

Hey, THANKS for mentioning my time with the Braves ... that was an easy job to do because I am a life-long Braves fan. ;D
