Sleigh bells in Milwaukee radio.

It's that time of year, again. The little ghosts & goblins have eaten their Halloween hauls. It's time to think of all-Christmas music on Milwaukee radio. At least we got through the spooky season before hearing Santa's sleigh bells, like 2008.

I've heard WRIT promoting their holiday fare as starting "later this month." I haven't heard anything on WMYX or WLDB.

Who will be the first to switch to all-Christmas, & when?

My prediction is: Friday (11/5) at 3 or 7pm. Probably WRIT will cast the first ornament. All WRIT's programming is local & not syndicated.

We'll see if my prognostication bears out.

Answer is...It didn't. Neither WRIT, WMYX or WLDB flipped to all-Christmas music on Friday.

I'm wrong, & I'm not making a second guess.

I'm hoping it will be coming soon, though.

Well. It's finally happened. WRIT went all-Christmas at about 7pm tonight...but as of 10;15pm, WMYX didn't follow suit. I'm wondering if The Mix couldn't do it, because they already had all the music in place for Kim Iverson's voicetracks.

There's always the possibility that they won't go wall-to-wall yule till after Thanksgiving, or not at all.
