Slight Change to Frequency of the Week Format

The suggestion has been made to me that we make a slight change in our "Frequency of the Week" threads. So, going forward we will close the FOTW threads, after they've been up for three weeks. They will still be viewable. Just closed to additional posts. If you have something new to say about a specific AM or FM frequency after it's been up for three weeks, you can either share it with us in "Post your latest DX", or launch a new specific topic thread.

I think this new approach will facilitate and streamline the usage of our board. As it is now, keeping a laarge number of threads open for months on end breeds unneeded confusion and redundancy. IMHO, the small changes we're making should provide a more focused...and more fun...experience here for everyone.

Very good move. Keep up the great work cyberdad.

Have you thought about possibly making the frequencies of the week a separate forum Because a lot of times other topics get pushed down further. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. I think the current format has been working well, but could stand some streamlining and de-cluttering (for want of better words). That seems to be the consensus opinion. That said, if there's widespread sentiment for another approach, I'd certainly be willing to take a look at it and take it up with the administrators.
