Sloanie "walks out" over $17

For the first time since Gary retired, I listened to WLW on the drive home and enjoyed it. A breath of fresh air.

I was channel surfing while I was on my way home yesterday and heard Gary Jeff and Mo....

Wow-- if Sloanie left as well as Tracy... That audio clip was hiliarious. Let them walk. I won't miss their sorry asses on the air...

Maybe them "Walking Out"--- regardless if it was a stunt; maybe will make the Corporate Suits wake up.

I'd love to see them gone.

Bring back something that is WORTH LISTENING TO in the 3PM-6PM time slot!

You didn't really fall for it, did you? You don't really expect us all to click on the link, do you?
There's a "reason" why I "used" quotes in "my" posting. I know it's a "stunt".

Sheesh. I provided the link in case you might actually want to hear the thing.

Just another tired stunt by WLW to boost ratings. Anyone remember the Seg and Willie fight stunt several years back?

If this were real, WLW wouldn't have a poll question on their main page asking if Sloanie and Tracy should be brought back.

Gary Jeff Walker said on his morning show on WLW that Sloanie and Tracy would be back on Monday. The 3-6 slot is going to go back to being unlistenable once more.

Damn. I was actually enjoying Gary Jeff in the afternoon, for the short amount of time I listened in.

I used to love WLW back in the 80s and 90s. I haven't listened to them in years. From what I have read on here, the station is a shadow of its former self. Sad.

I'd give them each 17 bucks to STAY out! Toss in a couple of car wash coupons for Tracy and it should about equal his last contract with the Reds if they paid him what he was actually worth. ;)

Uh... no. Gary Burbank isn't walking through those doors any time soon.

It's funny how selective memory works around here. Near the end of his run, there were a lot of people running Burbank down because he wasn't as funny as he used to be. Now that he's gone, he's apparently become bigger than Jesus H. Christ.
