Slone sells KCEE to Good News

Yeah, just saw that and came here looking for answers. Perhaps 690 moves to KCEE? I seem to recall Slone paid a bit more than $1.3 for it, didn't he? Or at least he's breaking even. Is he that hard up or just fed up?

Nice people at Good News, although not sure why they need another station; maybe I'm not thinking hard enough. Didn't they try to sell one of the rural AMs?

My question is if Good News was looking for a better signal for KVOI, why didn't Good News make a bid on KSAZ? There's not much difference between the night signals of 580 and 1030, but in the daytime that's a whole different story. Could it have been the that Mr. Ehlinger was asking too much for 580?
