Sloppy Board Oping on 1290 AM WTMI

The other morning I was listening to the CT Sun WNBA basketball team on 1290 WTMI and the board oping was horrible. Every time the "Sun" announcer mentioned "You're listening to the home of CT Sun Basketball News-Talk 102.3 WXLM" WTMI tried to cover it up with "Your home of the WNBA CT Sun 1290 AM WTMI". Also WTMI missed one break and three promos for WXLM aired on WTMI. Then in the middle of another commercial from WXLM they switched over to their own commercial. Is it really that bad to hear the words "News-Talk 102.3 WXLM" over WTMI? During the Patriots games you always hear "The WBCN Patriots Rock Radio Network". When I used to be a Pats fan I never heard any station blocking out the words "The WBCN Patriots Rock Radio Network". I remember the stations still did their own legal ID. One I remember from 1995 or 1996 was -"Let's Pause 10 Seconds for Station Idetification on the WBCN Patriots Rock Radio Network". Then the local stations Legal ID "You're listening to New England Patriots Football on 93.7 The 70s Station WZMX Hartford and News-Sports 910 CNN WNEZ New Britain-Hartford".

??? On occasion, WTIC-AM 1080 of Hartford will cover up when the Red Sox radio announcer starts to say "...on the W-E-E-I Red Sox Radio Network" heading to a commercial break.

WICC, which airs the New York Yankees, tries to take out as many WCBS NewsRadio 880 references as possible. I know, I was at the station for the 2005 home opener for the Yankees. The post-game can especially be troublesome--then again with John Sterling behind the mic--ANYTHING'S POSSIBLE! If I were running the board op after say the Turning Point of the game, where WCBS is mentioned, what I would do is air a promo to cover up the point where he says "listen to WCBS..." etc. WICC you see has competition from WCBS ironically.

The worst editing I've heard of stuff like this was a station on the Jersey Shore trying to cover up every time flag shit station YSP's call letters were mentioned with E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES chants.I honestly would rather have the "rival" stations calls than sloppy editting but it seems stations don't feel that way.
