Why do so many stations in DC play slow jams at night?

In this scenrio IMO Herkules would be out of the door(maybe to 106 and park) not too nights with Peter Parker he does not need a co-host to join him for nights. His ratings are more than competative in the slot.kilamanjero said:Well, there might be some hope for WPGC late nights when it come to slow jams programming. I heard from a friend that the Washington market management is seriously considering bringing back Todd B and Justine Love full time from Sunday through Thursdays 10PM to 2AM and the "Love Talk and Slow Jams" show. This would an excellent return to the things that made WPGC great especially when it came to its slow jams show and late night musical programming. Also it would be a huge coup for the station to compete with WHUR and Majic during 10PM to midnight.
Herkules vacate the spot as the on-air person, but he would a great addition to the nights with Peter Parker since he has direct connection with the younger listeners (via BET) and the community.

It depends on his contract status CBS is still trying to save money. And you are correct they do think well of him they have been giving him new contracts.kilamanjero said:donta1974 said:In this scenrio IMO Herkules would be out of the door(maybe to 106 and park) not too nights with Peter Parker he does not need a co-host to join him for nights. I would hope they retain Herkules at the very least a swing shifter and weekend personality. He's a good jock and a familiar face for the station considering his BET association. I know Jason and Angelique sees that otherwise he would have already been gone. I know he has only done a handful of weekend shifts at V-103 (here in Atlanta), but they could even send him down here.
