Beleive it or not, several Mainstream CHR POP stations air Sunday Night slow jamz, its a 4 hr show and it actually performs well, even at the CHR stations, so im sure it would work on sunday nights on Urban/Rhythmic Hip Hop stations,,, A 24-7 HD-2 of this format was a great idea, but I just wonder if its the same as the Sunday Night Show, which is owned by Superadio, and not CC.

@Mid West Clubber, yes I know of "Sunday Night Slow Jams" Their 24/7 HD Format is niiice. I got to listen to "Sunday Night Slow Jams" yet.
When you have free time, check out their 24/7 HD Format. Let us know what you think?

Anyone else let us know your thoughts?

Thank you very much

When you all get a free moment, check out Slow Jams 24/7 HD station on HOT 92.3 website as I stated in the beginning.
Let us know what you think?
At the moment, "Slow Jams" 24/7 format is only available to Clear Channel (HD 2) Stations.

Should they make "Slow Jams" 24/7 Format Available to (ANY, AND ALL) Stations that are interested to run it. (Example: "The Touch" from ABC Radio Network in Dallas, Texas comes on LIVE on about 15 stations in United States)
I think "Slow Jams" 24/7 Format should be available to (ANY and ALL) radio stations that want to carry them.

This is the type of radio station (United States) NEEDS!!!!!!!

They play it all (R&B) slow jams. They play it ALLL (Today's music, two years ago, eight years ago, ten years ago, back in the day <<<80s, 70s) They play it ALL (R&B) This is the type of station United States NEEDS!!!!

I'll give you an example.

One Sunday morning I was driving back from the supermarket around ??? 11, noonish, I was at a Red Light. I had Jodeci "Forever My Lady" (Blasting LOUD) There was an old guy (he was about ?? 65, maybe 70 years old?) He beeped his horn to get my attention, he asked me what station I had on? I told him it was a Tape. He then asked me what the name of the group was, he told me "I like that sonny, that's nice music"
I promise to God, really, he was about 66, maybe 70 years old. He was also Caucation.

Listen when you have some free time, and then, let us know what you think? Please tell us?

Thank you very much

I think they are also syndicated through Jones Media America. Because, when you are on Jones Media America website (Jonesmediaamerica.com), it links you to Superadio Programmings, and also links you to "Sunday Night Slow Jams"

Now, Triton Radio Networks/Dial-Global just acquired Jones Media America. Now, if you go on Dial-Global website (Dial-global.com) on top click on "Our Programming" On the left, look for Digital 24/7 Formats" They have about six 24/7 Networks. They've been around for about ?? three years.
Jones Media America is also apart of Jones radio Network, Jones Radio Network has about 7 24/7 Formats.
If I am not mistaken, I assume Dial-Global now has Jones Radio Network 24/7 Formats, and Jones Media America.

Ok, sorry

My point, Dial-Global, they should make "Slow Jams" 24/7 Network available to any radio station who want to carry them, They should add Slow Jams 24/7 to their Roster.

Your thoughts??

Yeah, some company such as (Premiere Radio Network, Superadio, Westwood One, ABC Radio Network, Wilbur Entertainment) some company should syndicated "Slow Jams 24/7 Format" so that (ANY) radio station can carry them if they want to carry them 24/7

Also, the announcers should ALL be on LIVE, and when they advertise the request line, answer the phones (instead of letting some Voice Machine Message) pick it up.
Answer the phones if you advertise the number. If it goes to voicemail, (a lot of people don't like to leave voicemail)

That's about all they need to improove. Have all the announcers be on LIVE!!!, and answer the request line.
If they do all those, I'm sure they can improove and become much more bigg, and better.

For now, I still love listenning to them on HOT923.COM HD 2 station (I listen on computer)

When you get a free moment, let us know your ideas here.

Personally, I think this format should be available to ALLLLLLL Radio Staions who want to carry it on their stations 24/7

I have heard a little bit of it.

I find it to be okay but personally, the music library doesn't go deep enough in 60's-80's classic soul for me. I am spoiled though since I cut my teeth on WGCI-AM Chicago when it was Urban Oldies in the early to mid 90s and ABC Radio's Defunct Solid Gold Soul and Heart and Soul formats from the mid-80s through about 2004.

My picks for slow jams would be

The nightly Quiet Storm on WHUR Washington

WDIA-AM Memphis's weekday Urban AC programming

WATV-AM Birmingham's nightly slow jams show (they go way back to the 60s and even 50s and lots of deep classics from the 70s and 80s, few stations go this far back and deep anymore). WHUR, WDIA and WATV all stream.

I actually liked Hot 92.3 Los Angeles's old HD station somewhat better (it streamed) it had a deeper list of soul classics.
