I browsed through here and noticed that as I was going back in time, there isn't nearly as much topics being discussed in the past few years then say back in 2012-ish or so and earlier and wondering the obvious, "Where'd everybody go? Do you know something I don't?" I've brought up a few things that ran across my mind a few times, but I'm working under the assumption that there isn't much to talk about these days concerning dance music today compared to such in years past. Or perhaps that everything that has been brought up could and it's just beating a dead horse at this point. Anyway, I just wanted to know if it's me or has people and regular posters 'retired' or have left to another forum board or has priorities changed? Has things become so toxic, noone is willing to post? I know people have lives--Maybe I'm missing the point, I'm not sure. It's just not active here has it has been since I'd say the early 2010s, and the mid to late 2000s.
 
I for one rarely come to this site. I was the victim of bullying on here and the owners could have cared less. This site is privately owned and whatever they say, or feel like, goes.

I think that you will find that, under current ownership, the "welcome mat" is definitely out for everyone to participate, while abusive posts are moderated regularly.

Indeed. You'd think that after 5 years that most of the previous posters would know by now that the forum returned. Alas, it appears that when the lights went out the first time, there's no reason to still be standing around, I suppose. I'm a bit taken aback by the lack of return as if there are other (perhaps better?) forums of this subject matter that people have fled to that I'm not aware of. If I'm not mistaken, this dance forum is one of the longest (if not longest) established going as far back as a good 15 years or longer--since the 'WorldWideVibe' days on radio-info.com according to archives. One of the allures to visiting here was when a poster would submit those 'dance webcasters lists'. From what I hear, you either really loved them or despised them. I was one of the many former. I don't know how they were compiled; expertise I presume. Since then, I haven't seen any or much thereafter since like 2011, '12, '13. I don't know whether they've moved elsewhere and I didn't get the memo or other obscure reasons or even if someone else has taken up doing those things.
