was getting 96.1 kykz from lake charles was coming in, so I tried other channels like 104.5 kkmy was in like local now big dog was a problem with brenham 106.1, however candy 95 was in like local that never happens b/c of 95.1 from beaumont mixing in, thought that 104.5 and 96.1 were coming so I would thought that kykr 95.1 would oh well, signals can get "nutty" at times when the tropo is in.

Not just from the east....everywhere!!!! I have been hearing KFOX out of Lufkin (95.5) and others.....every once in a while I can hear Eagle 98.1 out of Baton Rouge...looks like a GREAT band opening in process...
 
Sounds like what I had about 2 weekends when I was down in the area out at Lavaca county,, I was picking up 94.5 KRUF Shreveport LA/Bossier City like it was a local over 94.5 the buzz, even with my antenna pointed to Houston. It was wide open to Shreveport from 10-12a. All day on Sunday my TV was wide open, I couldnt get nothing local but KAVU 25 from Victoria, but the strange thing was that my FM was fairly cleared up, just the TV was wide open durring the day. Finaly that evening I was able to start getting woai-4 kens 5 & ksat 12. Last night here near Austin I was able to pick up Houston like it was local on my Denon tuner, even with my FM antenna about 23' up pointed to San antonio.
