smaller markits not airchecked?

I haven't seen any airchecks of Lewistown, PA WMRF
Uniontown, PA 99.5 as AC (do not remember the calls)
Crystal River, FL WXCV
KEVA ( recorded in AM Stereo) they are now Oldies but i remember them as Country . anyone got country airchecks?
WFMZ 100.7 Allentown, PA Easy Listening
99.9 WODE(50's-70's Oldies)
WEGX 92.9 Country
WKML 95.7 Country
Classic Country "Country Legends 100.7" Jacksonville, FL
Mainstream CHR WBSS "Boss 97"
WWON Oldies
97.3 in Glenn Mills, PA
Who has airchecks before the 80's that is willin to trade for today's stuff?
I'm curious what smaller markit radio sounds like. More local? or more VT.
Is airchecking a hhobby that is more in bigger cities? It sure seems like that.

97.3 Glen Mills just had a kid announce a song once in a while and an ID on the hour, not much to record.
I have a little of WFMZ recorded. What is VT that you refer to, Vermont? Or VideoTape? Airchecks do seem to be mainly from bigger cities. Maybe rural people could not afford a recorder? I always wondered why most people did not record radio. Even DJs and the stations don't have recordings of themselves. I agree the small stations can be more interesting. Not too much Mom and Pop businesses these days. Ever tried to put an ad on craigslist for airchecks? I got little response but at least it is worth a try and does not cost anything but some time. One guy said he had something then said he could not find the tape. The internet has sure helped aircheck collectors swap.
I love this Radio-Info site!

I'm actually a big fan of small/medium market airchecks, and have spent the last decade recording stations from all over the Midwest and nearby. Let me know if you'd like to trade.
