Smallville final season is next year. Allison Mack leaves show.

I sure hope for Tom Welling's sake that he saved some of the money he made from Smallville because after that show ends it is very likely that he will have difficulty getting any major TV or movie roles. For example, with the exception of the two Steve Martin movies he co-starred in, Welling's movie career hasn't really generated any real interest at the box office or even DVD sales. While I don't believe in the so-called "Superman curse", history shows anyone who has played that character ended up being typecast. Examples: Kirk Allyn, George Reeves, Christopher Reeve and Dean Cain.

Regarding Allison Mack; her acting career could go somewhere IF she manages to land the right roles or guest appearances on already established shows, especially dramatic ones.

As for Smallville the TV series, I must agree with another poster that after nine years the show got very long in the tooth. It went from an interesting concept to just plain boring. The show should have ended four years ago when most of the original cast members started to bail.

I'll miss her.

I don't think the show is boring, though I don't really enjoy the dark episodes. My favorite episodes are light-hearted and Lois-based.

But it's really the CW message boards (formerly the WB message boards) that I enjoy.

I wonder if they have their own "take it outside" board... ;D

No, but stuff gets moved to the main forum a lot. You start an off-topic topic on any show's board and that's what's likely to happen.

Let's see. A show Titled "Smallville" that is pretty much never in Smallville, with EVERY Character except Clark gone. I watch every week out of habit, and a bit of an addiction, but this show Jumped the Shark Years ago, and probably should have been cancelled when they graduated High School and effectively left Smallville.
